In the 1970s, the late Mr Lim Kim Hock embarked on a journey that would lay the foundation for on of Singapore’s most trusted scrap metal recycling companies. Starting as a sole proprietorship, he initiated operations from a modest backyard, driven by a vision to create value from what others discarded. With a keen focus on sourcing scrap materials from the marine, telecommunications, and power industries, Mr Lim built a thriving business rooted in hard work and dedication.

In 2003, recognizing the growing importance of technology in improving efficiency and productivity, the company evolved into Kim Hock Corporation Pte Ltd (KHC). This transformation marked a new chapter in our commitment to excellence and sustainability in the recycling industry by his son, Lim Teck Siang.
